Paai FaiStart without downloading an app
Paai Fai is a web app for phones, tablets and computers. There is no account requirement or APK download. Photos, handwriting and project files are processed on your device.
Type a short message, choose LED or another style and adjust the speed. Rotate your phone before checking fullscreen. The sign uses your device screen; it does not program a separate physical LED panel.
Add the app on Android
Open paaifai.com in Chrome and choose More → Install and create shortcut → Install where available. Other versions may call it Add to Home screen or Install app. If the editor shows Add to home screen, you can start there.
Open the new icon and check that your message and photos are available. Another browser or profile may use a different storage area. You can still use the website if installation is unavailable.
Add the app on iPhone or iPad
Open the site in Safari, use Share and choose Add to Home Screen. If it is absent, check the additional actions or edit the share actions for your OS version. Some versions offer an Open as Web App option before adding.
Open the icon and test landscape mode. Fullscreen and wake lock depend on the browser and OS; the app can expand to its available window instead. Check saved signs and photos from the new icon before leaving for an event.
Prepare offline use and save before updates
Load the app and fonts online once, then test reopening without internet. Cached tools and local artwork can work offline. Cross-device remote rooms require internet.
Apply a new version after your sign session ends. The update button saves the current draft first and keeps the editor open if storage fails. A home-screen icon is not a backup; export a .paaifai project to retain editable artwork or move devices.
